While on LinkedIn I found a post about an App called Mental Canvas. It’s a great tool for creating 2D sketching with 3D capabilities which makes for endless possibilities. I continued researching and I found this article about how it is a woman-owned and operated business and she won 2 million in a Female Founders Competition.

This happened in 2018 but it is still worth sharing. I would love to know what you think of Mental Canvas and its founder Julie Dorsey.

Mental Canvas has vast possibilities for all industries but I like to examine the app under the lens of the film industry. I believe there are many ways this app could be used to make our work more efficient. For example, storyboards with more in-depth shots outlined or laying out all the possible locations being scouted. I welcome your feedback about this in the comments.
